Previous owner's attractive bookplate adhered to front pastedown. Edges are rubbed and corners are gently bumped. Leather binding is lightly scraped, and the rubbing to boards has caused some of the marbled design at the edges to be lost. Spine is slightly rolled and binding of textblock is slightly shaken. Text is in German. A scarce title with attractive binding, possibly rebound. Leather spine has an additional, darker leather label for title, Endsheets are illustrated in gilt, and hand-marbled boards are shiny and bright.
