Roughly a third of the bottom edge of the text block is dampstained, with only very insignificant bleeding to the bottom margins of the pages. A portion of the spine has rubbed away. In the dust jacket, which is approximately 1/8" taller than the book. The jacket is lightly rubbed, and has periodic small closed and open tears in the edges. There is a faint erased numerical equation on the front inside flap. With a section of vocabulary at the rear, defining words such as "Astral," "Akasa," "Karma," and "Master." An occult novel, originally published in 1894, at the height of the Golden Age of Occultism. A novel about the mysterious brotherhood that closely guards the secrets of occult wisdom and also turns the wheels of history itself.
