Berlin: Ernst Wasmuth, 1924. Portfolio. Very Good +. Frank Lloyd Wright. The 1924 2nd issue of the great Wasmuth portfolio of 1910. Complete with the 32 pg. booklet and the 100 lithograph plates (loose as issued). The 2nd issue was published in a single volume rather than the 2 volumes issued in their 1910 incarnation and the plates are a bit smaller (48.2 x 32.5 cm rather than the original 64 x 40.5 cm). Mild wear and spotting along the original light-brown, cloth-backed boards, with the orginal ribbon-ties still firm and in place. Oblong folio, still regarded as one of the most influential architectural treatises of the 20th century and as an inspired attempt to publish a complete portfolio of Wright's work to date.
