Corners and edges are rubbed and bumped--some portions of cloth are beginning to fray, and there is a loss of color, most prevalent at corners. Boards have spotted stains, scrapes, and there is adhesive residue, a sticker, and stamp from previous library ownership. Some pages exhibit light foxing, and the textblock is cracked in several locations. An account and history of the city of Freiberg, in Saxony, and its Royal School of Mines. An attractively made volume, exhibiting 44 plates of historical photos, illustrations, and portraits. Includes a photo of the author.
