Jacket brittle and toned at margins and worn at all joints, slitting at spine joints with two horizontal tears, yet still clinging to either side. Panels lightly soiled with chips and minor tears at all margins. Verso toned. Boards bumped and rubbed at extremities with minor soiling to spine material, fore-edge sitting slightly proud at head. Top stain faded. Page edges toned and endsheets foxed. Previous owner name and date to first free endsheet. Pages 423 to 438 have been bound upside down, with page 423 head to toe with page 439. A Very Good copy in a Good only jacket.
