Mickey Spillane debuted the character of Mike Hammer, a hard-boiled and ruthless private detective, in his 1947 novel I, the Jury. The character returns in My Gun is Quick, the second Mike Hammer mystery, to uncover a prostitution ring in New York. The novel was adapated for the screen in 1957 as a film noir crime thriller directed by Victor Savile and starring Robert Bray. Near Fine in Very Good + dust jacket.
