Very Good in a Good first-issue jacket, unclipped ($3.00), generally worn with chips, creases, and tears throughout. Red cloth, faded at the head of the spine matching the loss of the jacket, with gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, fomer owner's signature on the font endpaper, clean otherwise. The novel went on the win the Pulitzer Prize for literature and was listed by TIME as one of the 100-best novels since 1923.
