The Eyes of Max Carrados

By BRAMAH, Ernest
New York: George H. Doran Company, 1924. First American Edition. Octavo. 20cm. Publisher's vivid golden yellow boards titled in orange to spine and front board. 354pp. Very minor wear and scuffing to extremities and spine ends, a little darkening to the cloth of the spine and perhaps some very light thumbing in places, bright and fresh; internally clean with some light toning to endpapers and a small stain to the page edges, not interfering with text. A very good, bright copy.

The second Max Carrados book from Bramah, probably best known for the creation of Kai-Lung, the Chinese protagonist of a series of historical-fantasy works, but whom later gained acclaim for his creation of Carrados; the blind amateur detective of genius.
