Overall a Very Good copy in a Good jacket.

Adelaide Phillpotts was the childhood neighbor of Agatha Christie. She went on to write under the name "Adelaide Ross" after breaking ties with her creepy and incestuous father, Eden, and marrying American bookseller Nicholas Ross. Yellow Sands was adapted to film in 1938 starring Marie Tempest, Belle Chrystall, and Wilfrid Lawson.
