Napoli [Naples]: Presso Gaetano Castellano, 1774. 12mo; 19th-century calf over marbled boards, gilt spine in six compartments, maroon morocco spine label, all edges stained red, marbled endpapers; 192pp.; engraved frontispiece depicting Bacchus and a beautiful young woman in Tuscany, barrels of wine spilling all over the countryside as Bacchus raises his glass to the reader. Leather a bit dried and rubbed, later (1882) ownership signature to front flyleaf, contemporary ownership inscription to frontispiece verso, light foxing to textblock, else Very Good and sound.
