La Rivoluzione Soffocata dalle Elezioni; La vittoria socialista ha allungata la vita alla monarchia. ["The Revolution Suffocated by Elections; The Socialist victory extended the life of the Monarchy."]
- Siena: Tipografia Nuova, 1920
Siena: Tipografia Nuova, 1920. 8vo. 17cm. Printed salmon pink paper wrappers; 77pp. Light wear to extremities, strong and bright; internally clean; a very good copy indeed of an ephemeral production.
A fervent and committed piece of anarchist polemic railing against the counter-productive need of the socialist revolutionaries to adopt conventional "classical" forms of election and leadership, that in Boldrini's mind work for the perpetuation of problematic systems, rather than being instrumental in their destruction. Boldrini was an anarchist of the old school, from his early youth, and lived a life of almost constant conflict either with the administrations in power, or with the anti-establishment organizations he became involved with. His stance was primarily that of ardent anti-militarism, which placed him in opposition to a large number of enemies and potential allies.
