In the dust jacket, with a number of very faint impressions of notations in blind on the rear panel, the result of the book having been used as a writing surface. A novel of the old west. Inscribed by the author, in the year of publication, to renowned Kiowa writer and poet N. Scott Momaday (1934-2024) on the title page: "4/10/12 / For Scott Momaday / Thanks so much for / you [sic] Great Quote / Michael McGarrity." Momaday's works include more than 13 books of poetry, plays, prose, and children’s stories. Momaday has provided a blurb on the back of this book.
