Germany, 1900. Good. Toned and brittle with short tears.. A charming coloring book for children, printed in Germany for what we presume is the American toy market. The front depicts an artist at his easel painting a pet dog, with a child watching. Inside, the coloring book is comprised of four panels at unfold to reveal two line drawings with matching pre-colored examples of each for the child to emulate. Each has a series of different colorful objects. The shows a toy puppet, a flag, a rose, a geometric design, a church, a fountain, and a pail. The second depicts a mirror, a scythe, a sphere, a dice, a butterfly, a sand castle, a shell, and a fish. Illus. wrps measure approx. 6" by 4
