Introduces children to famous Americana and American iconography ranging from the Liberty Bell, Christopher Columbus, and the Mayflower, to themes and values such as Emigration, Freedom, and "Zeal", an "American Trait". The entry for R is interesting, depicting "Redskins", or "The first real Americans", with an image of Squanto helping a white boy learn to fish. Second printing. Lacks dust jacket. Single vol.
