London: Michael Joseph. First edition and first printing. Hardcover. 238 pages. One of the better received science fiction works from the author of the classic "The Day of the Triffids." A very good plus copy in black cloth boards with some slight bumping to the spine ends and some other minor wear and in a very good price clipped dust jacket with some small chips, small tears, some small spots to the rear panel, some faint tape stains to the verso and some other minor wear. Despite the flaws a solid copy that presents very well.
