Solid and VG to VG+ in its full red leather, with bright gilt-insignia and titling along the front panel and spine. No writings or markings of any kind internally. Thick octavo, top-edge bright gilt, deckled fore and bottom-edges. Dozend and dozens of full-page illustrations plus 4 charts within the text (3 of them fold-outs). Also includes some interesting laid-in ephmera, a number of TLSs (typed letters signed) from members of the Plant family to the author, G.S. Dickerman.
