Jacket rubbed and bumped at margins and darkened at spine and joints with general light soiling. Tear to middle of spine and to top of front joint have been repaired at verso with Japanese paper with glue offsetting at recto and joint repair coming loose at top. Ghosts of tape at tears visible at verso. Board corners and spine ends gently bumped and page edges foxed. Endsheets offset from glue at gutters and first 40 pages show significant foxing with minor foxing throughout. Overall a Very Good copy in a scarce Good or better jacket.
