New York: Sold by J.G. Wells, cor. Park Row & Beekman, 1865. Good. New York: Sold by J.G. Wells, cor. Park Row & Beekman, 1865. Pictorial broadsheet folded into six-paneled moveable booklet in which the outer leaves are to be cut horizontally down the center to form flaps, turning the illustrations into five different "tableaux". Edges trimmed and chipped; old dampstaining and tape "mending" to horizontal flaps; Good to Very Good.

The "five expressive tableaux"  illustrate the consequences of Jefferson Davis's decision to secede, ending with his imagined execution. An intriguing if macabre movable book, likely published around the time of Davis' arrest by Union forces on May 10, 1865. No copies in retail at time of this writing; only three copies in OCLC match this imprint, at the AAS, Boston U., and Duke. .
