Jacket generally rubbed, creased, and chipped at margins with toning and fading overall. Verso toned. Board corners and spine ends rubbed and bumped, bottom shelfworn, with scuffing and scratching to page edges. Abrasion to first pastedown from erasure, otherwise pages clean. A Very Good or better copy in a Good only jacket of Baroness Karen Blixen's, better known under her the pseudonym Isak Dinesen, only novel under this pen name. She described the book later as her "illegitimate child" as she initially denied being its author.
