England, 1874. Very good. Light toning to verso.. An attractive 16mo greeting card for New Year's, depicting a young girl in a bright red headscarf against a wintry background. On the verso is a contemporary inscription that reads, "To Lillian with M.E. Taper[?]'s love 24 Decr 1874". Ink has been used to cross out "New Year" on the front to make it into a Christmas card. Chromolithographed with embossed and rounded edges, measures approx. 3.5" by 2.5
