Printed invitation/"admit one" ticket for the evening entertainments of the Cercle Francais de l'Harmonie in January 1884 in New York. The front is printed in color and depicts two winged putti flanked by French and American flags. The back features a comic image of anthropomorphized animals dancing to a lively tune in a ballroom in French costume. All of the men are toads (with the exception of one rabbit), and all the ladies are big-chested birds showing quite a bit of leg. Measures approx. 3" by 5
