Each page in this edition is broken into four clear parts for the teacher: a stated lesson purpose; a preparation exercise; directions for getting pupils started on the workbook exercise; and, finally, a reproduction of what the pupils see in their workbooks. This structure allows for the teacher to easily incorporate the workbooks into the day's lesson. Also interesting to see how reading and literacy was taught at this time, and how teaching and lesson planning has or has not changed over the years. Single vol.
