[1]. 2-299, followed by [1] page of ads; in two books which are through paginated; front joint is cracked but holding very well; there is a previous owner name on the front endpaper, and a charming Richmond bookseller’s label on the pastedown: “Sold: John R. Jones. Nearly opposite Eagle Tav. Richmond”.~~Senac’s treatise first appears in Latin 46 years previously; this is the first edition in English, translated with notes by Charles Cauldwell, and with “A Recommendatory Preface” by Benjamin Rush. Very Good binding.
