Postcard-sized photograph of the composer by Prof. Alfred Krauth of Frankfurt taken in the Spring of 1923 INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the subject in white ink: "Best New Year/wishes to Miss/Pearl Seiler/from/Percy Grainger/Dec. 1923." L. Pearl Seiler was a 1910 graduate of the New England Conservatory who later studied under Granger and who taught at Greensboro College in North Carolina.
