Grand Rapids, Michigan: Alabastine Co, 1922. Very good. Dust soiling, leaves becoming loose from staples.. The May-June issue of "Brush & Pail", a periodical promoting paint products sold by the Alabastine Company. Founded in 1879, the company manufactured and distributed paint derived from gypsum, and marketed it as a safer alternative to contemporary wall coverings. The content is largely question and answer type promotion for the company in the style of letters to the editor. There is also a two-page photo spread depicting Osaka Public Hall in Japan, "decorated with Alabastine when this picture was taken". Includes a sample of one of their paints pasted to the verso of the upper wrapper. Single vol. (9.75" by 4.25"), pp. 16, in original red and black printed wrps.
