Chicago, Illinois: [Industrial Workers of the World / I.W.W. / IWW], 1922. Pamphlet. Very Good +. 32 pp. Duodecimo [18.5 cm]; saddle-stapled, printed self-wrappers. Some age-toning, brittling, and a bit of wear to edges and corners. Some minor internal creasing from printing/production. Very faint previous owner's stamp on the rear cover (p32): "F. A. SCHOENLE | STA. DEL. | 1480 HARRISON AVE. | CINCINNATI, OHIO" Miles 4256: This work is an "explanation of the IWW's refusal to join the International (see also no. 4231)." With reference here to Miles #4231 (which is a separate 1922 leaflet entitled "The International Position of the I.W.W."), Dione Miles' annotation about that work states: "The Red Trade Union International is politically controlled by the Communist Party. The IWW cannot submit to a political group.
