Military memoir of the noted American naval officer who, following his long military career, became a proninent anti-communist writer and lecturer. Inscribed to the leading anti-communist intellectual of the Cold War, Ralph de Toledano. It is not recorded how well Wedemeyer and Toledano's relationship held up later when, during the Nixon administration, Wedemeyer became an antisemitic conspiracy theorist who advocated deporting all American Jews to Israel.
