Inscribed black & white publicity photo

A matted black and white publicity photograph of popular actress Myrna Loy, who is best known for her acting roles in the 1930s and 1940s, particularly her portrayal of Nora Charles in the several Thin Man movies opposite William Powell.The photo shows Loy lolling in a pool with her body artfully hidden partially by the thousands of tine petals floating in the water. Below the photo a separate frame has her inscription: " For Jeff warm best wishes Myrna Loy" written in blue ink. The black paper mat has a chip along the bottom and bumped corners. The photo and inscription are in about fine condition Photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Mat measures 12 x 15.5 inches. The mat has a piece of cardboard on its back. FILM/062725.
