Spine pictorial graying blue with off-white lettering. Exterior has moderate plus wear including slight sunning to the spine, several instances of chips to the edges and mild soiling. Boards have slight wear with slight sunning to the spine, sparse scratches, few whitish smudges and light edge wear. Text block has age toning to the fore/tail edges and head edge colored red. Deckled fore edge. Pictorial end papers. Cracking to the gutter at the half title page. Slight offsetting to the gutters to the end papers and mild age toning to the interior. Illustrated. First edition.
