Solid and VG (light spotting and offsetting along the pastedowns and endsheets) in a crisp, VG+ dustjacket, with very light waviness to the panels. 12mo, seminal text detailing the "Laboratory Plan, later to be called the Dalton Plan, which was originated by Helen Parkhurst at Tacoma, Washington in 1910". "The Dalton Plan" is now considered a major text in early 20th century "Progressive" education.
