The company is best remembered today for the "Bluebird sound," attributed to the label's session band (which included musicians Big Bill Broonzy, Roosevelt Sykes, Washboard Sam, and Sonny Boy Williamson), and noted as an influence on later rhythm and blues and rock and roll musicians.
