Brown paper quarter binding with green paper boards. Boards show moderate shelf wear and moderate soiling. Significant rubbing wear to board edges; sections of exposed board at fore corners, and ends of joints, and along fore edge of front board. Bumping to fore corners. Significant splitting along joints/hinges; boards are mostly detached as a result. Horizontal cracking along length of spine. Loss of material at head and tail of spine. Text block is significantly age toned with significant foxing present throughout. Dog-ear crease affects top corners of pages 93-116 and bottom corner of pages 417 onward. Edges are untrimmed and somewhat brittle. Shelved in Room A. While this work was intended to consist of multiple volumes, only the first was ever published. 1401058. Special Collections.
