Oblong quarto [24 cm x 29 cm] Black wraps with an illustrated paper label, depicting City Hall, on the front wrap, and a string-tie binding. Edges of wraps lightly creased. Very minor fading to the edges of the rear wrap. Title on front wrap a bit rubbed. The Albertype Company was founded by the Wittemann brothers in the late 1880s as a postcard and view book publishing company. This view book contains a fold-out panorama of Salt Lake City. Other images include "Main Street, Looking South," "Main Entrance- Salt Lake Security and Trust Co.," "Knutsford Hotel," "Elks Club," "Lafayette School," "Saltair," "Jewish Synagogue," "Mormon Temple and Tabernacle," "Groves Hospital," "Lehi Sugar Factory," and "Views of Lagoon.
