Stab-stitched pamphlet bound into later cloth, gilt title to spine. Light rubbing to extremities, light fading to edges of boards. Light toning to interior, moderate soiling and light edgewear to endleaves, light foxing to a few leaves. A very good copy of a scarce title. $500. * Only edition. Judged to be insane, Woodford was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to a term of ten years for stabbing and beating his wife to death. Morgan was the keeper of the Hartford County Jail.
