1911 Coronation Souvenir of King George V and Queen Mary

An attractive souvenir booklet produced for the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, crowned in 1910 and 1911, respectively. Such booklets and trinkets would have been proudly sold to the public as a way of celebrating the start of the new king's reign. Inside are two portraits of the monarchs with their birth dates, date of marriage, and the days they were crowned at Westminster Abbey. On the inside of both covers is a printed order of events, explaining the ceremony to the public. Single vol.
