- Culver City, CA: RKO Radio Pictures, 1941
Culver City, CA: RKO Radio Pictures, 1941. Vintage borderless photograph of filmmaker Walt Disney playfully riding a toy horse during a party at the house of Argentine illustrator and painter Florencio Molina Campos. Printed mimeo snipe and RKO Radio stamp on the verso.
Molina Campos was engaged as a creative consultant by Disney from the late 1940s through the mid-1950s. The pair took several trips to Bariloche, during which they worked on the creation of characters for Disney's 1942 classic "Bambi." Molina Campos also aided in the creation of inexpensive, animated "package films," most notably "Saludos Amigos" (1942) and its sequel "The Three Caballeros" (1945).
7 x 9 inches, trimmed irregularly. Very Good plus.
