Two (2) printed booklets advertising Diamond brand dyes to housewives and domestic workers in 1910. provides fascinating insight into women's work in the domestic sphere at this time, as well as the ways in which companies advertised their products to women. The two items include one generic advertising booklet, and another titled "The Diamond Dye Annual" which mimics contemporary journals/annuals. Includes many in-text illustrations of well-heeled, slim ladies in fashionable dresses, to push a kind of wealthy aspirational lifestyle to customers. The two items include:
