EL COMIENZO DEL PRESENTE: SEBASTIÁN SZYD

Ebastián Szyd began a series of trips around the world for 19 years, which became the driving force behind his aesthetic and spiritual pursuits. His projects, which take Latin America and the East as points of reference, are developed along visual, installation, and sound paths. He has received, among other distinctions, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Fund for the Arts. His works have been published in different formats, among which his monographs América, published by La Azotea Editorial Fotológica, and Ofrenda, published by Antennae Collection, stand out. Sebastián's work has been exhibited individually and collectively on numerous occasions, and is part of collections, both public (Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Argentina, The Museum of Fine Arts of Houston) and private in Latin America, Europe, the USA, and Japan.
