"The Mouth Full of Silence" exhibition brings together mostly oil paintings created between 2016 and 2019 and features insightful contributions from theorists Pedro Donoso and Nathalie Goffard, art historian and curator Kimberlee Cole, and journalist Cristóbal Joannon. Inspired by the artist's work, they address themes such as landscape, neoliberalism, and territorial exploration, creating a poetic and insightful analysis of the current state of Chilean geography and its transformation through an extractive system. It also includes dialogues that revisit the same topics with a fresh and profound reflection on art and nature. Alejandro Quiroga (Santiago de Chile, 1967) is a multidisciplinary artist whose works encompass graphic, sound, pictorial, and installation works. He constructs and develops his narrative based on capitalism and landscape in a territorial exploration. Through different media and disciplines, he investigates a visual field where the contemporary embraces history and politics in its transformation. of the natural habitat." La boca llena de silencio” recopila mayoritariamente óleos realizados entre el 2016 y el 2019, cuenta con certeras contribuciones de los teóricos Pedro Donoso y Nathalie Goffard, la historiadora del arte y curadora Kimberlee Cole y el periodista Cristóbal Joannon. Juntos, inspirados en las obras del artista, abordan temáticas como la del paisaje, el neoliberalismo y el recorrido por el territorio, creando un análisis poético y agudo del estado actual de la geografía chilena y su transformación a través de un sistema extractivista. Incluye también diálogos que repasan los mismos tópicos con una fresca y profunda reflexión sobre arte y naturaleza. Alejandro Quiroga (Santiago de Chile 1967) es un artista multidisciplinario que trabaja cuerpos de obras que incluyen lo gráfico lo sonoro, lo pictórico y lo instalativo. Construye y desarrolla su relato a partir del capitalismo y el paisaje en un recorrido por el territorio. A través de diferentes medios y disciplinas investiga un campo visual donde lo contemporáneo asume la historia y lo político en su transformación del hábitat natural.
