Previous owner's blindstamp on front free endpaper. In the dust jacket, with light moisture rippling to the front panel, and mild toning. Blindstamp of Edward T. Hall of Santa Fe, New Mexico on the front free endpaper. Cultural anthropologuist Edward T. Hall pioneered the study of nonverbal communication and interactions between members of different ethnic groups. Paris-born Bernard Cathelin (1919-2004) was a member of the School of Paris which included Picasso, Chagall, Matisse, and many others.
