Clean, well-preserved copy of this early, lovely Willy Pogany-illustrated edition of The Rubaiyat, with its 12 lavish full-page, tipped-in color plates complementing Omar Khayyam's immortal text, here translated into English by Edward FitzGerald. Circa 1920. Tight and Near Fine in its russet cloth, with bright gilt-titling and device along the front panel and spine. Also includes a solid, crisp example of the publisher's scarce original dark-green box, which shows very light wear and scuffing along the edges but has protected the book itself very well.
