1930s Mail Order Sex Education -- Ephemera Accompanying the Film "Damaged Lives

New York, New York: The American Social Hygiene Association, 1937. Very good. Envelope toned and chipped.. A set of educational ephemera published to accompany the 1933 Canadian-American film "Damaged Lives", directed by Edgar G. Ulmer. The film, considered by some to be an early form of sexploitation film, was spun by the studio's marketing team as a sex education film to broaden its audience and skirt any moral objections. To support this spin, the studio screened it alongside a filmed lecture, and issued it with educational materials. This set of materials was mailed after the 1937 showing in New York supported by The American Social Hygiene Association. In total there are six (6) items, housed in the original printed mailing envelope. They include:
