Several leaves sprung. All plates present and clean, while there is some discoloration to some text pages. Ownership inscription of Col. Charles John Kemeys-Tynte (1800 -1882), with remarks in the same hand: "Nonsense altogether" on half-title, and, above main title, "A Pretty imaginary or perhaps, rather, Fallacious Account of...." Condition noted; primarily offered as a collection of plates.

Twenty five interesting if unhistorical color plates ("aquatinted by R. Havell") of costumed men in bucolic settings. Reference: Tooley, 326.
