The April 1914 issue of "The Schwenkfeldian", a serial published "by the General Conference of the Schwenkfelder Church" in Pennsylvania. The Church was formed in the early 1900s and follows the teachings of the Protestant Reformation figure Caspar Schwenkfeld von Ossig (1489-1561). Schwenkfelders have existed in the United States since the 1700s. This issue of "The Schwenkfeldian" contains poetry, a report on their recent conferences, member news (e.g. recent deaths or meetings), an article on local Boy Scout groups, and a section titled "Home and Fireside" by "Mrs. H.K. Anson" with moral advice for children. Single vol. (10" by 6.75"), pp. [53]-68, stapled in original printed wrps.
