Both slipcase and volume are in coarse cream cloth binding; gilt decoration and lettering to volume front panel and spine. Slipcase front panel shows very faint smudging and a small stain. Rear panel shows more moderate smudging around the edges. Volume itself is in excellent condition with no visible wear.
