Louise Lab was a French poet ( c. 1522 – 25 April 1566), who wrote honestly about desire and eroticism, producing a small but enduring collection of sonnets which set her apart as a remarkable writer for the times. Small book label of Henry Burton. Bound by Pierre and J.A.G. Ligroin with their stamps on front cover interior. Elegant, brilliant binding, inner dentelles, silked endpapers, wide text margins in almost as new condition.
