Octavo (22cm); black cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine; dustjacket; xviii,292pp. This copy from the library of noted poet, translator, and anthropologist Nathaniel Tarn (1928-2024), inscribed to him by the editor on the front endpaper: "For Nathaniel & Janet / some literary lust and gossip – with best love in late May, 1991 / Lee." Tarn's pervasive, light pencil annotations appear throughout the text. Near Fine in a lightly rubbed, Near Fine dustjacket (priced $27.50).
