Cincinnati, Ohio: U.S. Playing Card Company, 1899. Very good. Light dust soiling, box extremities rubbed. Spotting inside box.. A floral-themed card game from the late 1890s, housed in the original box. Number 1126 in the company's series of card games. Issued by the U.S. Playing Card Company (also referred to at the time as The Cincinnati Game Co.). This set is near-complete, and lacks the original printed instructions card. It contains fifty-two (52) cards. The goal of the game appears to be to collect the most complete sets of flowers. Each is labeled with a letter and a number (e.g. "A1"), and a complete set would be "A1" to "A13". Box measures approx. 3.75" by 2.75" by 1". Ink manuscript on bottom of box.
