Fundamentals of Adlerian Psychology

New York: Greenberg: Publisher. Very Good+ in Good dj. (c.1950). First American Edition. Hardcover. [a good sound copy with minimal shelfwear; the jacket is edgeworn, with small tears and minor paper loss at several corners, short closed tear at top of front panel, some uneven soiling on both front and rear panels]. Per the jacket blurb: "The importance and significance of 'Individual Psychology,' built up over a period by Dr. Adler and his school, is increasingly recognized. Hitherto there has not been available a really simple and lucid introduction which, while remaining accurate and scientific, can be readily understood by the novice. This book fills the need, and received additional authority from Dr. Adler's own Foreword." It's to be noted that Dr. Adler's Preface is dated 1933, and is a translation from the original German; the book was "published in several European languages," but had not previously been issued in the U.S. Per the author's introduction, Adler's foreword is "the only one in Adlerian publications (to the author's knowledge), [and] gives this volume historical significance." It probably also accounts for why Adler's name is in larger type than the author's on the jacket. (Adler himself died in 1937, in case you're wondering.) .
