The book and suite of cards:~Large octavo: in the publisher’s light terra-cotta boards with an image from one Mr. Ruzicka’s cards as a pastdown, and with a pictorial dustjacket; there are 29 color plates taken from the cards executed by Rudolph Ruzicka.~~With the book are 29 greeting cards with the Ruzicka illustrations that were printed for Daniel Berkeley Updike for the Merrymount Press; there is an additional card with a Ruzicka woodcut for The Cloisters of The Metropolitan Museum.~~The book and the plates are housed together in a bespoke clamshell box with a morocco label. A most attractive presentation of the book with the Ruzicka illustrations, and the Merrymount Press holiday greeting cards with the same.
